Marc is a Partner of the EY-Parthenon practice in the Netherlands where he is the regional sector leader for consumer products and retail. He has more than 20 years of consulting experience working for a large variety of clients in these and other consumer-facing sectors including leisure, catering and travel. His focus is on competitive and commercial strategy and commercial (vendor) due diligence, but he also has substantial experience advising on operational improvement and value chain excellence.

Marc has been closely involved in several high profile transformations and most of the large mergers and acquisitions in retail and consumer in the Benelux, often as a commercial advisor to leading private equity houses. He is a recognized thought-leader on key themes in his sectors, such as consumer marketing, proposition development, digital, competitive dynamics, pricing and key commercial processes.

He joined the Benelux office of OC&C Strategy Consultants in 1996, and became a partner there in 2005. OC&C Strategy became part of EY in the Netherlands in September 2016. Before that Marc studied Electrical Engineering at Delft University of Technology.
